Have you discovered Clover's Wonder Clips yet?
I started using them when we opened the Haberdashery, and I swear, I have no idea how I managed without them. I use them in place of pins when hemming or sewing edging, as pins can make the fabric ripple- clips don't. Also, when I make tiny toys and letters for hanging mobiles, the clips hold the pieces together with more accuracy for handling while hand sewing.
They also hold many layers together better than pins do, so are great for attaching bag handles to bags.
And with the little dolls I knit- they pull the edges together better than pins do. They're wonderful!
We sell the 3 different sizes in The Haberdashery. The regular size are great all rounders; they're the first ones I got and I bought a second packet pretty quickly.
Then we spotted the mini ones and I HAD to try these- well, they're just perfect for sewing little fiddly things.
Clover also do giant ones, aimed at knitters. My knitting is too small and fiddly for these, but I can only assume they work brilliantly, as the regular sized ones are perfect for my small knitting projects.
All three sizes are available in the shop now. Highly recommended.
