Cancellation & Returns Policy
What if I receive damaged goods?
We pack your goods as well as we can but we know that sometimes the journey to your house can be a bit rough. If your package arrives a bit worse for wear you must contact us within 14 days of receipt of the goods that they are damaged. We may ask for photographic evidence of damage. This is to allow us redress with our shipping agent. We may ask you to return the goods to us and we will reimburse any delivery costs incurred, should we do so. Replacement goods will be sent to you at no additional cost to you. Beyond the 14 day period all merchandise shall be deemed to be in good order and damage goods claims will not be entertained.
How do I cancel an order?
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. To return goods please contact us with your order number and we will let you know where to send the goods back to. You are responsible for the costs involved in returning goods to us. We cannot be liable for any goods returned to us which are lost or damaged. Goods returned in an unsaleable condition or not received by us will not be refunded. As such we recommend that you use a registered delivery service to return goods and ask that you consider insurance. Once we have received the goods a credit will appear on your credit or debit card within 30 days.
How do I return goods?
To return goods to The Haberdashery contact us using our contact form and include the order number, your email address and delivery address. This is to help us speed up your refund claim. We recommend that all goods returned are sent by insured recorded delivery. The Haberdashery cannot be responsible for lost or damaged goods. Claims cannot be processed until requested returned goods are received. Returned goods must be in a resaleable condition. We have the right not to refund the cost of goods which we cannot resell. Any requests for refunds must be made within 14 days of receipt of the goods. Postage is not refundable.
Cancellation by us.
We reserve the right to cancel your order if:
a) We have insufficient stock to fulfil your order;
b) If there is a suspected case of fraud;
c) Due to unforeseen circumstances.
In the rare event of us cancelling your contract we will email you to let you know. We will credit your credit/debit card account as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after you have placed your order. Unfortunately we are not in a position to, and are not obliged to, offer additional compensation for any disappointment suffered.
